E-learning Research Programmes

Nisai has taken part in two major Pan-European funded research programmes and is currently involved in a third called PALETTE. These programmes focus on different aspects of e-learning. Nisai's involvement in these programmes has given the organisation a deeper understanding of e-learning pedagogy.

The Genius Project - Generic E-Learning Environments and Paradigms for the new
  Pan-European Information and Communication Technologies Curricula. This was a Pan-European   e-Learning Project involving 9 universities

e-Tutor - Innovative e-learning methodology for tutors in multi-cultural, collaborative and
  synchronous contexts. This was a Pan-European e-Learning Project involving 5 universities and
  two organisations specialising in e-learning technology.

The Palette Project (Pedagogically Sustained Adaptive Learning through the Exploitation of
  Tacit and Explicit Knowledge) is a Pan-European e-learning Project funded by the European
  Union and is run by 12 universities and several research councils. It involves research into
  'Communities of Practice' and the collaboration of technology and pedagogy.
