Online Teachers – Maths, English, Science

Do you want to work for an internationally recognised education provider?

Nisai Learning is an online school that provides an inclusive, social and student focused community for every student. Through our own online platform, called the Nisai Virtual Academy, we provide learners from all backgrounds a bespoke education. Replicating a mainstream school in terms of student support, exam office, monitoring of progress and attainment, we ‘respect the student’ by providing a holistic approach to education which has proven necessary and successful for many.

The Role

Due to growth and unprecedented levels of interest, Nisai are opening a new centre in Derry and are therefore looking to expand the existing teaching team that are currently based in Stockton-on-Tees and Harrow.

We are actively recruiting Qualified and Newly Qualified Online Teachers who are passionate about education. We seek applicants who want to make a difference and an impact to the lives of students who, for various reasons cannot access mainstream education.

Our live and interactive lessons are delivered to students around the country via our bespoke online platform. Our
students consist of learners with different abilities and varying backgrounds and our teachers help students to engage in education and to work towards achieving successful outcomes. You will be part of a dynamic team of teachers who deliver lessons and accredited courses to Year 6 to Year 13 students who learn from home or within school.

With working for a private education provider, standard teaching holidays and working weeks will not apply due to delivery taking place to students overseas in addition to the need for delivery at weekends and during school holidays. This will provide successful applicants with a more flexible way of working to meet the needs of our students and clients. You will be teaching smaller class sizes (typically of no more than 15) and your
lesson lengths are no more than half an hour.

Background

You will receive ongoing support from our Head of Online Learning and department leads in addition to ongoing CPD. You will also be provided the technical training required to deliver our lessons to a very high standard via the online platform.

The successful applicants will require:

  • To be educated to degree level
  • An enhanced DBS check – the ability to apply for this can be provided by Nisai
  • Excellent communication skills (essential)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (essential)
  • Experience of teaching or a certificate in education (essential)
  • Knowledge of special education needs (desirable)
