This morning in Vietnam, CEO of The Nisai Group, Dhruv Patel attended and presented at a seminar for UK partnerships in Technical, Vocational, Education Training or ‘TVET’ in Ho Chi Minh City.
Dhruv’s presentation focused on providing ‘effective and measurable ways to improve skills training and education within ASEAN context’ and highlighted technical delivery, accessibility, deployment, soft skills and case studies of the Nisai approach in action in nearby countries including Thailand and the Philippines.
Dhruv’s presentation addresses the challenges and restraints faced locally in Vietnam. In particular, the need for work-based training programmes developed in conjunction with local partners to address skill deficits in local markets and accredited academic courses that support and empower local employees.
Attended by delegates from the UK and the ASEAN region, this two-day event is organised by the Department of International Trade in Vietnam and features organisations from the UK who offer technical, vocational, education and training services in the area.
