As an organisation, we are committed to providing a way for learners to continue their education
We can be named under ‘Section I’ of an education health care plan and are actively involved in EHCP reviews.
99% of our learners have some form of special education needs, including medical, behavioural and emotional difficulties. We provide a pathway for these learners to continue their education when they feel they cannot access this in a mainstream school or college.
Once a learner has been granted an EHCP, their provision is commissioned and funded by a team within the local authority. The process for receiving and implementing an EHCP can be lengthy and take up to 20 weeks. Therefore, we recommend planning ahead to avoid gaps in the learner’s education.
