The Outreach Programme

The Outreach Programme

Affordable 1:1 support for each learner

The Outreach Programme offers a flexible package for students who require 1:1 support outside of the school setting. Concentrating on pastoral care and academics, students match with a mentor, who focuses on meeting the needs of the individual. Our programme could be used to build confidence or provide additional 1:1 support during lessons to help learners transition back into a mainstream setting.

How does it work?

Regardless of the length of time a learner is on the outreach programme, they receive flexible lessons via the Nisai Virtual Academy, accessing short-term courses such as Core Curriculum or long-term courses at Key Stage 3 and 4 whilst getting 1:1 support from their mentor.

Additionally, we monitor and measure Attendance Behaviour and Contribution alongside the progress of learners within a 12 week plan that Outreach mentors create. Moreover, our mentors also complete daily reports to note down any information and progress that might be significant at a later date. We are more than happy to share this information with the commissioning school or local authority.

"The school manages all aspects of safeguarding extremely effectively. Leaders and staff ensure that vulnerable pupils learn how to manage risks to their welfare"
