Personalised Learning Support (PLSP)
The Personalised Learning Support Programme is specifically for children and young people who require a mentor to support them, face to face. We offer this support to local government teams. Through Nisai’s information management system we can support the outcomes set out in Section E of an Education Health and Care Plan (statutory document to support learners with SEND / Learning Difference) by creating activities carried out by a Nisai Mentor to measure the progress being made. For Post 16 learners in the UK, we are able to be named in Section I of an EHCP as the agreed Post 16 Institution.
Our priority is to ensure that all our students achieve their personal best. Our learning mentors follow a four-stage guide which serves them for identifying students’ learning strengths and needs. They carry out appropriate and effective strategies that promote student engagement and achievement.
"Since being with Nisai, he has benefitted from having a mentor who has supported him with life skills, helped him feel more confident in going out for walks and trips in the car. He reluctantly admitted his spelling has got better given his weekly spelling tests."Nisai Learning Mentor

- Pupil 2 – 8 hours per week, Mentor time and 2 online subjects

Virtual Mentoring
The Virtual Mentor Support Programme is specifically designed for children and young people who require a mentor to support them. Mentoring is delivered online and support is created to meet the needs of the individual.
We offer this provision to local authorities/schools/parents who already have students learning online with us. Recognising that not all children and young people can sit for hours, our Virtual Mentoring can be accessed in 30 minute and 1-hour sessions.
"Logging in and working the way Nisai do meant that I did not miss any of my studies, and that I was not isolated and could still engage with my studies, teachers, support team, mentor, chill out zone clubs and competitions." NVA Student
