Education can directly impact all 17 Sustainable Development Goals
The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. In essence, address the global challenges we face, including poverty, inequality, environmental degradation, peace, justice and many others.
We are committed to making a difference in the sustainability of our world through innovative education. Therefore, we have launched an innovative 10 week course that allows students to study the Sustainable Development Goals in a practical context.
Turning theory into practice with ICT
This skills-based programme places academic study into a practical, real world context, allowing students to investigate the Sustainable Development Goals. Furthermore, it will give learners the opportunity to develop the skills they need to harness their ambition at school, university and their future careers.
The programme taps into the way today’s learners enjoy studying; including group work, seminars, projects and working with other learners across the globe. Moreover, the course emphasises on developing students’ ability to think critically about a range of global issues where there is always more than one point of view.
Additionally, learners can study a longer version of this programme which can be used to prepare them for the Cambridge Global Perspectives programme. This can be studied at IGCSE and Advanced Level and is a unique programme that supports students at each stage of their learning. As a result, students develop an outstanding transferable skill set, including:
- critical thinking
Who is it for?
The programme is for learners studying at Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 (aged 7-14). Depending on the age and level of the learner, this programme will subsequently build on their ability to progress onto higher level programmes.
