Nisai House | Blended Learning

Nisai House | Blended Learning

Long-term Nisai House students receive all the advantages of the Nisai Virtual Academy such as house groups, support sessions, recorded sessions and online support, while a friendly mentoring team provide assistance during each lesson.

When our students arrive at Nisai House, they are greeted by a safe, caring environment which allows them to start over. Our learners are referred by schools in the area, PRUs and the local authority. These learners may be dealing with a range of challenges such as:

  • ADHD
  • Asperger’s Syndrome
  • Oppositional Defiance Disorder
  • Dyslexia
  • Permanent exclusions

We provide them with an opportunity to gain project based and academic qualifications so they can achieve their ambitions. Many of our learners continue to college, apprenticeships or employment.

The Outreach programme is also available for learners who require 1:1 mentorship alongside their academic provision and is a central part of the Nisai offering.

Furthermore, we now offer a short-term reintegration programme as an ‘early help measure’. This flexible programme consists of students accessing Maths and English over a six week period. In addition, we provide support to help learners deal with any behavioural and socio-emotional issues.
