Key Stage 4

Key Stage 4

The Key Stage 4 unit allows learners to gain qualifications relevant to their chosen career path

We have created a safe and holistic environment where students can be themselves and receive support in all aspects of their lives. We aim to create a well-rounded person ready for the next stage in their lives, whether that is college, university, apprenticeship or employment.

How does it work?

Learners study academic subjects ranging from Entry Level 3 to GCSE depending on their ability level. We strive for the best in our learners and offer a range of life skills. This includes looking at working within the community by raising money, fundraising events, behaviour management and  re-engaging learners into education through fun, interactive lessons.

New for 2019 – KS3 and KS4

Long-term students will be accepted on the basis of Outreach and Personalised Learning Support Plans.

  • Learners have the opportunity to mix with other learners at sites where they will take part in project-based activities to develop their soft skills
  • Students will attend the KS3 classes in the morning and KS4 classes in the afternoon whilst also attending project based sites to prepare them for the workplace
  • Mentorship will be provided on a 1:1 basis

Ask us about our new course with a focus on the Sustainable Development Goals 2030!

"Key Stage 4 pupils are very enthusiastic about the school and speak very positively about the staff. They appreciate the responsibility and independence that they are given."
