Isabelle’s Story: Finding Hope and Stability Through Flexible Education

How Online Learning Helped Isabelle Reclaim Her Education and Confidence

When Isabelle was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS ME) in April 2016, everything changed. She missed an entire year of school and had to rely on home tuition provided by the local authority. Despite the physical and emotional challenges, she showed remarkable resilience and achieved five GCSEs through hard work and determination.

Determined to keep going, Isabelle joined sixth form the following year on a reduced timetable, managing only one to two hours of learning a day. However, even that limited schedule took a toll on her health. By November, she had to drop one of her A Level subjects, and by March, she was forced to leave college entirely.

It was a very difficult time. Like many parents facing similar situations, we were deeply worried about how she would continue learning, stay motivated, and hold on to hope for the future.

Then we found Nisai.

Since enrolling with Nisai’s online school, Isabelle has regained her confidence and found a renewed sense of purpose. The flexible learning structure allows her to study at her own pace, guided by kind and understanding tutors who are always there to support her. On days when she feels too unwell to attend live online lessons, she simply catches up later using recorded classes. She genuinely enjoys the virtual learning environment and finally feels part of something again.

Without Nisai, continuing her education from home would not have been possible. We do not know exactly what the future holds, but thanks to this supportive online education model, Isabelle is optimistic—and so are we. She has a brilliant mind and a strong spirit, and we are confident she will go on to do amazing things.
