Core values at Nisai

At Nisai, we’re more than just an educational organisation and school, we’re a community built on strong core values, with a clear purpose centred on personalised support, nurturing development, and tailored education.

We believe education encompasses much more than academic success alone; it should be a journey that supports each learner holistically.

That’s why we created the Nisai Virtual Academy. An online learning community that is safe and that reaches beyond the conventional classroom setting.

Our students are cared for.

Our core values for success

  • Excellence
  • Inclusion
  • Integrity
  • Ambition
  • Empathy
  • Flexibility

Our mission

We’re committed to equipping both traditional and non-traditional learners with the skills they need to thrive through innovative education and by influencing positive institutional change.

Our vision is to transform education on a global scale to eliminate social injustice.

Equity and liberation

For us, liberation in education means providing every learner with the resources they need to thrive.

This commitment to personalisation leads to true equity in the classroom, achieved through the dedicated support of our teachers, form tutors, and student welfare teams.

While inclusion is a longstanding focus for us at Nisai, equity ensures each learner’s individual needs are met. This enables our learners to overcome challenges, realise their goals, and become active, engaged citizens.

We offer a pioneering, quality-assured educational experience for all learners, fostering a supportive environment where every student feels valued and equipped to reach their own potential.

Our team and technology

At Nisai, we continually innovate to meet the unique needs of our learners worldwide. Our UK-based development team has created and maintained the Nisai Virtual Academy and NISIMS, our in-house management system, along with customer and parent portals. These platforms and tools ensure secure, high-quality online education with real-time access to student reports, whilst upholding the highest standards of safeguarding and data protection.

Our team has also developed assistive technologies to enhance reading and writing skills, with a proven track record of boosting literacy rates and improving student outcomes.

Our ethos is built on respect for all voices; our students, teachers, mentors, and support staff all have equal value. At Nisai, everyone is encouraged to grow, to be heard, and to feel empowered. Many of our learners join us after experiencing challenges in traditional school environments; here, they find a place where they are listened to, cared for, supported, and truly nurtured.
