Wellbeing is vital at every stage of learning. Whether supporting children, young people, or adult learners, our aim is to ensure that everyone feels valued, supported, and able to reach their potential. When learners feel secure and understood, they are more likely to engage with lessons, build confidence, and make progress.
Poor mental health, stress, or low self-esteem can affect anyone, regardless of age. For adults returning to study, balancing education with work, home life, or other responsibilities can be challenging. Our wellbeing and mentoring services provide the structure and understanding needed to manage these pressures effectively.
By combining wellbeing and mentoring, we can:
Learn more about how Nisai supports Our Students today.
At Nisai, our mentoring service is built around one goal, to provide every learner with the skills, confidence, and emotional support needed to achieve success in education and life. We combine academic mentoring, personal development, and wellbeing guidance to ensure each student receives consistent, meaningful support. Our mentors work closely with students, parents, and schools to identify barriers to learning and create a structured plan that encourages progress.
Our mentoring programme is a key part of Nisai’s approach to supporting both academic progress and emotional growth. What makes our service unique is that we offer both in-person mentoring and virtual mentoring, giving every learner the opportunity to access the right level of support wherever they are.
For students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), mentoring plays an essential role in helping them apply what they learn online to real-world situations. Our mentors work alongside teaching staff to complement academic lessons with practical life skills, helping students prepare for independence, employment, and everyday responsibilities.
Each mentor provides structured, one-to-one support that focuses on confidence, communication, and resilience. They encourage open dialogue, trust, and reflection, helping students to develop a stronger sense of self and a clearer understanding of their goals.
Our wellbeing and mentoring programmes have a measurable positive impact on students and the wider school community. Key benefits include:
This approach benefits schools, parents, and students alike, creating a joined-up system of support that promotes both academic success and emotional health.
