Success looks different for every student. For some, it’s attending class regularly; for others, it’s re-engaging with their education after time away.

Our goal is simple: help the student achieve their personal best.

From the very first lesson, we track the child’s progress, including their attendance, behaviour, and class participation. Our experienced teachers provide ongoing support, guiding students through assignments and ensuring they stay on track with their goals.

Nisai supports local authorities by providing flexible and inclusive education solutions for learners who cannot access full-time school. This includes students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), excluded students, and young people with disabilities, medical needs, or mental health challenges.

Our online platform allows local authorities to meet their statutory responsibilities under the Education Act by offering safe, structured, and accountable provision that aligns with Ofsted standards.

We work closely with:

  • Children’s services teams across England and Wales.
  • SEND departments supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Attendance officers and inclusion teams are responsible for reducing persistent absence.
  • Virtual schools support children in care or those receiving education at home.

Our services include:

  • Online teaching that aligns with the national curriculum.
  • Regular progress reports shared with schools, parents, and council departments.
  • High levels of attendance monitoring and data-driven review.
  • A dedicated safeguarding and wellbeing
  • Access to short-term and long-term learning packages, including flexi-schooling and reintegration programmes.

Our provision is suitable for learners in secondary education, post-16 college pathways, and re-engagement programmes, ensuring a smooth transition into further training or employment.

Local authorities partner with Nisai because we provide:

  • Proven results in improving engagement and reducing exclusions.
  • A reliable, accredited online platform recognised by national bodies.
  • The ability to personalise learning for children and young people with complex needs.
  • Transparent reporting, robust safeguarding procedures, and policies informed by Ofsted best-practice guidance.
  • A flexible, scalable service that adapts to each area’s educational priorities.

We understand the challenges that local councils face in ensuring access to education for every learner. That’s why we continue to work alongside national statistics and policy guidance to improve outcomes for children and young people across the UK.

A Nisai Online Learning Zone online is a dedicated area within your school where students access live online lessons, mentoring, and support from trained staff. The Zone acts as a bridge between classroom learning and personalised provision, offering a supportive learning environment for students who need a different approach to remain engaged.

This model benefits students who struggle with noise, pace, behaviour expectations, or transitions in a traditional teaching approach. It also supports reintegration, attendance improvement, and prevention of exclusion.

Flexi-schooling is a hybrid learning approach where your child spends part of their time in a traditional school setting and the rest learning from home. This is different from supplementary education, where students attend school full-time and study additional subjects at home in their spare time.

With online homeschooling courses from Nisai, you can create a personalised education pathway that truly supports your child’s learning needs through a flexi-schooling approach. This model blends the structure and flexibility of home education with the social and collaborative benefits of mainstream schooling.

There are many reasons why a conventional school environment might not fully suit your child, and flexi-schooling offers a solution that’s gaining popularity among parents. Whether it’s to support a specific learning style, accommodate health needs, or pursue interests beyond the standard curriculum, flexi-schooling with Nisai provides the flexibility to tailor education to your child’s strengths and goals.

Nisai’s online courses can also enhance mainstream education by offering a broader selection of subjects, including those not typically available in schools. So if your child is eager to explore new areas of learning or deepen their knowledge in a particular field, Nisai is here to help make that possible.

We offer a flexible, results-driven approach to education, with a range of benefits that cater to a variety of student needs.

  • Education is delivered in the comfort of their home, in a public area, or on-site at school.
  • We work to boost attendance and keep students engaged.
  • Reducing fixed-term exclusions.
  • Our programmes focus on improving learner attainment.
  • Re-engaging students who may be struggling with traditional education.
  • Supporting non-traditional learners who are unable to attend mainstream and specialist provision.
  • High-impact, low-literacy support through our Units of Sound and WordQ programmes.
  • A significantly more affordable alternative to traditional private specialist provision.
  • Flexible payment options.

We understand that every family’s situation is different, which is why we offer a variety of payment plans. Speak to us today to find out more.

Nisai Education Trust will support the recently awarded research grant, a Knowledge Transfer Partnership between Nisai Group with Staffordshire University, awarded by UK Research & Innovation (UKRI).

The Staffordshire University team, including Dr Charlotte Fearn, who will be embedded within Nisai, will work with us to apply academic knowledge and critical understanding of the ongoing disruption to children’s progress as part of the long-term fallout of the Covid-19 pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis. We know that a significant number of schools and families are continuing to experience real issues in terms of children’s low attendance, poor engagement, and rejection of the formal education system. Key to the success of the project will be involving those children, schools and families in the research and service design.

Dr Jim Pugh, Director of the Institute of Education at Staffordshire University, said:

‘We have a track record of research and evaluation projects which fall within the realm of widening access and participation to education, and which align strongly to the projects aims and outcomes. Staffordshire University is really excited to be involved in this project as it presents a novel research and development challenge, developing cutting-edge digital approaches to learning and teaching for the compulsory sector.’

The 2.5-year project will find out more about how we can best use non-traditional education to ensure that all children get access to high-quality education. It will then develop innovative services that will enable children and young people to stay engaged in the education process – gaining the outcomes they need and deserve in a rapidly changing economic and technological environment.

Dhruv Patel, Founder and CEO of Nisai Group, commented: ‘In an education landscape revolutionised by digital technology, we must ensure that we meet the moral and economic imperatives to ensure equitable access to quality education for every learner, regardless of learning need, age, background or socio-economic status. This project is proof of both organisations’ passion for and commitment to that cause!’

As research findings emerge from the project, they will be published through both the University and the Nisai Education Trust website.
