This recognition provides independent assurance that Nisai delivers high-quality online education, robust safeguarding, personalised learner support and effective leadership.
For learners who need a different pathway, including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), SEND, Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA), medical needs, anxiety or alternative provision requirements, Nisai offers a safe, inclusive and engaging online learning environment where every young person can work towards their full potential.
The Online Education Accreditation Scheme, also known as OEAS, is the Department for Education’s accreditation scheme for online education providers in England.
It gives schools, academy trusts, local authorities, virtual schools and families confidence that an online education provider has been independently assessed against nationally recognised standards.

1. High-Quality Teaching
Ofsted recognised the strength of teaching across Nisai’s online provision, stating:
“Teachers know their subject in depth and use high-quality resources to deliver skilfully designed lessons.”
At Nisai, lessons are delivered live by qualified teachers in small online classes. This allows learners to receive individualised support, interact with teachers, and access structured teaching from wherever they learn best.
Our approach is designed to help learners feel engaged, understood and able to make progress at a pace that suits their needs.
2. Positive Relationships with Pupils and Families
The report also recognised the strength of relationships across Nisai, noting that:
“Staff have highly positive relationships with parents/carers and pupils.”
