Study support programmes

U:SUCCESS
In order to improve students' learning skills and essential soft skills in the learning and life process, Nisai opened the U:SUCCESS program with useful and practical topics. Through U:SUCCESS, students will be introduced to important skills such as note-taking skills, email writing skills, and time management skills.
U:PASS
(only for students NS1, NS2, NS3)
The program is designed to support students who are studying core subjects including Math, English, and Science. Sessions are led by experienced and highly accomplished seniors or classmates who guide new students - learning more slowly on difficult topics to help each other progress.
Homework Drop-in
In order to consolidate knowledge and support students to complete Homework in the best way, assignments are answered with the guidance and companionship of the teacher.
Pastpaper
For IGCSE/AS/A-Level, students will practice past papers with academic advisors. The questions will be prepared by the advisors, distilling questions with the topics learned and assigned weekly to help students familiarise themselves with the types of questions before the IGCSE/AS/A-Levels exam.

Exam Drop-in - Exam Question Answering Support: For the IGCSE/AS/A-Level level, students will have meetings with a UK Test Advisor to assist students who are about to take the exam with all the answers. Questions about Cambridge exams as well as future study abroad orientations.

The clubs

Chillout Zone

More than 20 online clubs coordinated and supervised by teachers. When participating in clubs, students have the opportunity to interact with classmates from more than 30 different countries to share interests and knowledge.

Talkfest

Every 2 weeks Nisai will organise online exchanges for students to improve their speaking, debating and presentation skills with the most up-to-date topics, focusing on the topic of Sustainable Development Goals, SDG2030.

Interactive Clubs

In addition to the online school clubs with Chillout Zone, Nisai also organises biweekly, alternate online clubs coordinated by experienced mentors, with the aim of creating an environment for students to show their talents and talents and exchange and learn with students around the world.

Interactive Club Aim Activities
Innovation Club
- Develop student’s creativity
- Connect students with the same hobbies
Club members will create a creative product (paintings, clips, models, etc.) (fashion, carnival, etc.), post to the club's product library and present the products at the event.
Debate Club
- Strengthen and enhance critical thinking and debating skills
- Expand knowledge on current topics and events, including the United Nations’ SDG 2030
Members debate a given topic according to the World School Debate model.
The members work in groups to discuss on skype, assign them to plan and practice speaking.
Book Club
- Encourage students to read, write, share and learn through books
- Enhance student’s English reading skill
Members read 2-3 English books each term that are age-appropriate and humanely meaningful. Then, the members shared the lessons learned from the content they read.
Coding Club
- Connect students with the same interest in IT
- Develop and strengthen student’s thinking and coding skills
Members work in groups throughout the semester to design a technology product (game and cartoon). At the end of the term, each group will present their group's work.
Public Speaking club
To help students practise and improve their public speaking skills
Members prepare a short presentation (5 minutes) on the assigned topic and present the content prepared in the activity.
Career Club
To help students to be aware of and understand their strengths and weaknesses. From that, students are able to develop their sense of career aspirations.
Members will be introduced to common personality tests and assessments (at the basic level) and take these tests themselves. Further analysis and discussion related to career orientation will be carried out with the guidance of the facilitator.
CEFR English Club
To create an environment for students at CEFR level to practice and enhance their English vocabulary and skills.
Members review thematic vocabulary, sentence structures and practice dialogues in English.
